Coming in at number #5 of the most affordable cities when moving to Georgia is one of two cities that are located in Cobb County Georgia which is Marietta. Downtown Marietta Georgia Marietta is just located northwest of Atlanta, the median income in Marietta Georgia is $42,688 with a median home price of $206,800. Marietta is very proud of its southern charm, the focal point of the city of Marietta is the Historic Marietta Square with oak trees, bandstands, casibos, and fountains in clover park and surrounded by stores, shops, and over 30 restaurants. If you would like to take that all in as a visitor you can either take a trolley tour or you're gonna do one of those manual foot pedal pedicabs to take you around Marietta and see the beauty of the city. Duluth is a city in Gwyneth County with a median income of $60,161 again very specific but if you think about that the median income is pretty much right there where Marietta and Smyrna are at. But the median home price is way cheaper in Duluth and that's probably one reason why a lot of people moved out of the metro area and moved toward Duluth! If you're thinking about moving to Georgia but you want to be close to Atlanta maybe Duluth is exactly what you are looking for?!
