If you're looking for an international getaway, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport is just a ninety-minute drive – perfect! The nearby coastlines of Savannah in Georgia are only 2 ½ hours away too - let your journey begin at this military base with so many possibilities on its doorstep.

TRAFFIC

Robins Air Force Base provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of major city traffic. For those who've been at Whiteman, where there's barely any rush-hour congestion to speak of, it can be an adjustment - but compare this to other bases near bustling cities and you'll find Robins' roads refreshingly uncrowded! Still, even with minimal traffic here, one must plan ahead; US 129 is the sole road for accessing all gates on base so morning & evening rushes may still cause backups.

If you're new to the base, take a day prior to starting work and invest in exploring! See where you have to go and where everything is located at - not only will it make your transition smoother, but of course provide insight into which gate could be most useful. Avoid any confusion or stress-induced tardiness by getting familiar first!

ACTIVITIES

Every Air Force Base is like a little village all its own! At Robin's air force base, they have plenty of activities and amenities to ensure military personnel is entertained.
